Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It hatched with fins instead of legs and did not seem to react well to freshwater, so you relocated it to the nearest ocean.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Despite being a Deepsea dragon, Aal is young enough that she still feels more comfortable in lower-pressure heights of the ocean. Aal always tries to follow her older siblings up into the bright and interesting regions of the sea, but her parents think that she is far too young to swim so far without adult observation. So most of the times she has to stay behind and spends her time pouting until Wyrmy and Feaz get back or she manages to slip away unnoticed.
