Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

End of the Days is a thief-turned-hero. It started when, as a young hatchling, he stole Amber Shining Magi's latest spell. He thought he'd gotten off scot-free and forgot all about it, eventually living in a far northern community (which the Magi had been kicked out of) for years.

One day, the Magi he'd stolen from arrived. After an exchange of poisonous words, it was up to End to stop her. She left in a huff, swearing revenge. End thought that was the last he'd see of her. After all, the North was a cold place for experiments with certain mana types.

Amber Shining turned out to be more persistent than he thought. She came back again, and he sent her back South again. Over and over again. This continued for months, and he has now resigned himself to his designated role of sending the vengeful Magi packing.
