Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Edar'sthyr enjoys time alone, setting up stones in elegant patterns around his favourite resting spots. He spends years returning to his perfect place and resting, contemplating his existence and the lands around him. In one particular resting space he set up a calendar to help him keep track of his time there, all made out of stone arches that he moved himself. After a time a group of humans found his favourite place, enraged, Edar'sthyr caused a small earthquake causing many stones to tumble and crack. He has never returned there since, sulking in some other isolated place, setting up stones in patterns around him.
