Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Some people believe dragons never stop growing until they are slain or run out of food. While this is false for most dragons, Giar isn't "most". Due to this, he is a very large dragon because of his age. His size lets him bring powerful storms anywhere he goes. Since he has a terrible temper, he sometimes loses control of the storms of rage he makes. All he can do at this point is move the storm, so he brings it high in the atmosphere, higher than any dragon he knows dares to go. This allows the storm to break up due to the lack of atmosphere, but makes Giar pass out because of the large amounts of oxygen needed for his body. He then falls to the ground, but his large size lets people in the villages escape before he lands on them. There is usually great damage caused by his weight, often destroying entire villages, but he helps rebuild as soon as he regains consciousness, keeping the skies clear and breaking large trees for wood.
