Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Fire Hippy is a truly unique Hellfire Wyvern. At least to her owner she is as when she rescued her as an egg she had no idea Hellfire Wyverns wild temperaments were learned behavior so it was a pleasant surprise to have Fire Hippy turn out the way she did. From the moment she hatched her owner felt she was different. She didn't make any noise and followed her owner around everywhere. Fire Hippy would often sit in silence carefully studying her owners every move. As her owner is a white witch and connected to mother nature Fire Hippy soon became fascinated by flowers and trees. She is now frequently seen in town hugging everyone saying love one another. This often shocks both dragons and humans alike. She sits for hours outdoors meditating and loves butterflies. As she can breathe fire but doesn't wish to harm anyone with it she is very useful in the kitchen at lighting the hearth. In fact she is quite helpful with warming up the whole house.
