Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Doomed Romance, or doom as she is called, is named for her inability to get along with any of the other dragons in the family. Although a great hunter, the closest relationship she has with any male is a hunting partner. She was bred once but killed the egg, not wanting to have to take care of hatchlings, for they would slow down her ability to hunt. When breeding day comes every few weeks, she is gone, nowhere to be found, everyone in the family is left to guess that she has gone off hunting with her only good friend, TamedFreedom. Other than that, she is a very neutral and mild tempered dragon that is easy to get along with, she doesn't pick fights, but she isn't too friendly to anyone either. Lately she has shown small signs of a change in personality and has been spending more time with Wings, enjoying his company.
