Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ring works at the "Temporary Shelter for Sweetling Hatchlings" every year. She makes sure that there is enough sugar and honey around to keep the "little pests" as she teasingly calls them healthy and in a good mood. She spends most of the rest of the year working out trades with Stripes, so that they lead her to hidden bee hives, and human traders and bakers to accumulate enough provisions for those few weeks—and keeping other hatchlings from completely raiding her stash of course.
