Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"SHINY!" was the first thought that entered JazzyJ's head, as she pulled this egg from a mysterious cloud of fog. Descended from one of ten, Clockworks is truly a strange and uncommon creature. As JazzyJ carried her prize to her cave, she, being the clumsiest one in the entire land, had to drop the orb once. Or twice. And each time the sphere rang out with a CLANGG! When the egg, as it turned out to be, hatched, the hatchling was always making that strange CLANGG! sound, and asking for a name. In the end, the dragons and JazzyJ grew tired of it, and named him after the great clockworks in the king's palace. He has been content, but every time a piece of metal is dropped, CLANGG! will ring out through the cave. And it will trigger a recurrence.
