Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nazilla used to be a hatchling who joked around. She would always be at the center of the part. However, she also had a calm and collected side that she rarely shared. It wasn't until she met Samara Crichton that she found someone she truly felt comfortable sharing both sides with. When they became adults they decided to use surrogate fathers whenever they wanted an egg.

Over the years, however, Nazilla became distant. She kept talking about feeling like she had died and that's what changed her. Most dragons think that becoming an adult drastically changed her. Samara will never mention the truth about what happened, but tries to support Nazilla any way she can.
