Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Chillymountain, as most call her, is a dragon who spends most of her time in the high caves of mountain peaks with her mate instead of with the other dragons in her owner's cave. Chillymountain loves to look over the mountains when the light of the moon shows the snow. Some think she is lonely up there but her and Quietmountaintop (her mate) could not be happier in the frozen peaks.
