Ridgewing Dragons live just below the snow level on the upper slopes of mountains. They are a friendly, playful breed and enjoy dancing in wind currents near their homes or plummeting down into valleys from great heights. Their wings, by far their most striking feature, grow in fin-like ridges along their backs. While their bodies lack markings to blend better with their surroundings, a ridgewing’s wings have bright markings in the colors of the flowers that grow in their mountain habitat. Occasionally different-colored individuals can be found, but they are rare because their striking coloring offers little protection.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

She has seen the obsession of flower crowns in her little clan, but never thought of herself as one of the females so foolishly wasting flowers. She despises all who pick beautiful flowers to look better and glares at them for being so cocky. This despising first started as she was lying in a beautiful meadow and looking at the flowers. One flower caught her attention—it was blue with yellow sides. She went closer to check it out and found her self just daydreaming next to it for a whole day. She decided to come back to look at the flower the next day, but disaster struck. One female of her clan was picking the flower, but the moment its footstalk was so violently torn away from the ground, the flower turned to dust. Sareala couldn't help but shed a tear and the cocky female just sneezed and destroyed what was left of the flower and walked away. Sareala knows which female that was and she swore to take revenge on her for destroying such beauty for her own.
