Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cobalt sees himself as a noble protector and advisor to the clan. Always trying to set a good example, holding himself to a high standard of behavior and expecting others to do the same. Cobalt will often join Moony's lessons to the young ones in order to supervise them and help teach the hatchlings to understand right from wrong. With such a rapidly growing clan, he sees these lessons in morality to be increasingly important to the clan structure, and to 'tame' any potentially dangerous hatchlings before any drastic action is taken. Recently, Cobalt has taken a real shine to Moony, and is thinking about asking her to be his lifemate.
