Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Swiss was put together by a lonely wizard who wanted a companion. Swiss grew up its entire life loving the wizard. When the day came that the wizard didn't wake up, Swiss left in search of someone to call its companion. Swiss stumbled upon Clya and her cave and stayed there making many new friends. Sometimes though Swiss will disappear for days in search of the wizard's tower, only to return later upset.
