Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Ochredrake Delta is the most curious dragon of the whole Delta Clan. He's even more curious than one of the princes, Sky Delta. Sky Delta was the most curious one before Ochredrake was born. He is the eldest of his siblings (the original four are still older than him but he's just older than those who were born AFTER him) and despite his immature nature, he's becomes very protective of his siblings (the original four are protectors of the Delta Clan) when they either get hurt or in danger of a threat. Ochredrake is described as curios because he searches for hidden things around the Delta cave until he finds quite a lot of stuff that a dragon wouldn't normally find everyday. Stuff like a fallen scale of Sky Delta, a sparkle dust of Dream Delta, a piece of old skin of Sun Delta's sunstone tail, etc. Ochredrake Delta is a born member of the Delta Clan.
