Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Wendy is one of the many dragons rescued and nurtured by the wide ranging clan of humans founded by AnselaJonla. Her egg was found near a volcano and taken to a hatchery to be raised.

Once she matured, she found her lifemate, a Golden wyvern, among the other AnselaJonla dragons. In the tradition of the AnselaJonla flock, both dragons took the same name, Halojym, to pass down to any of their offspring that remained within the flock.

Her tail is meant to be for warding off blows, but Wendy has found a better use for it; as a paddle to knock a ball back to another dragon or human. The youngsters all love queueing up to throw balls of various sizes and materials at Wendy to see how far she can hit them.

When necessary it also makes a very good club, as intrepid invaders or brainless bandits have discovered in the past.
