Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Metano is one of the three leaders of the Dragnaire Avatar army. He is an Avatar of Change. Metano De Dragnaire can change one's fate. To change his fate, a clan member must climb Mount Dravrest, a home to many tough monsters and corrupted humans. After reaching the summit of Mount Dravrest, the clan member must find a gold leaf pile without falling into any holes on the summit. Upon finding the golden leaf pile, the clan member is only permitted to take one golden leaf. After saying the "Oath of The Golden Leaf", the clan member will be teleported back to the Dragnaire Clan. The clan member have to give the golden leaf to Metano De Dragnaire and in return, Metano will change the member's fate.
