Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hanna Dian is graceful, has a strong constitution, intelligent, observant, business like, patient and disciplined. Hanna Dian is very dedicated to the clan and does a lot for the community. She also does a lot in her spare time and is always seen busy. Hanna is a talented hunter and loves to participate in friendly combats with other dragons. Hanna likes to dress up other dragons especially when mating season is coming up. A lot of dragon come to her to for a nice make over. She teaches young hatchlings how to take care for themselves and how to hunt. She likes to scare other dragons by randomly popping out of nowhere, raising her fins whiles she screams at them. Hanna is a strong individual and never backs down when challenged, she has some evil tricks up her sleeves when the moments occur. She wishes she had some special ability's while she isn't aware how talented she is. She also strangely enough for a dragon taught herself how to cook, she indeed shares her meals with others.
