Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon maintains that the only scientific investigation that can be undertaken is the kind that has been specifically approved by the "Approved Science Committee", which currently only consists of him. However, few obey his decrees, as he claims to arrive at his decisions through a scientific method, with the unfortunate implication that he has not yet approved his own scientific investigation of other scientific investigations.
