Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stubborn as Hell—or rather if you prefer; Account—got his real name taken away due to his neglect of his assigned duties. Designated as the head male for raising the eggs and hatchlings in the Tinsel Clan, he does a rather poor job of it. His partner, although not his mate, a female bronze tinsel named Stupid, is just as faulty. The entire clan wonders why they were put in charge in the first place. Not only is Stubborn as Hell stubborn as hell in raising kids for his own kind, he is also very snobby and air-headed when it comes to choosing who his mate is, having babies or meeting other dragons.
