Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Hell Song is as apparent from his appearances, demonic in nature. Brought forth from dark night, he is difficult to tame, being naturally vicious. The Hell Song has coloring that hints of his power; warm, with the colors of flame: red, orange, and black. This dangerous canines possess small, wickedly sharp horns. Wyvern lives only in extremely warm climates, and prefers to reside by volcanoes and in tropical locations. Occasionally he can be seen in deserts, as he thrives in and seeks out sweltering climates. Like his name indicates, Hell Song is hot to the touch, and wield dangerous powers over the element fire. When raised from hatchling, he makes loyal companions. Despite his loyalty, he can become wildly violent when even slightly angered, and is loyal only to the scroll owner. this guy will become enraged at the sight of any ice creature, and must be kept separate from them, least Wyvern's natures cause them to fight. The Wyvern is a powerful ally, always welcome in The Scroll.
