Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Aurelian Aerialist is known for tricks that seem to defy the laws of logic; flying seemingly straight through mountains and trees, twisting her body in ways that should be impossible.

That's what she likes to say, though, that "should be" is not the same as "will be" or another way to say that it is cold, hard fact. What other dragons say "should be" impossible, she's determined to prove wrong; what they say is impossible, she accepts and moves on.

Not after a little experimentation with her luck herself, of course. More than a few times, she's proven what "is" impossible wrong.

Her shows have gained her quite some influence in the land, with dragons flocking from all over to see her perform unnatural feats. Skeptics say it's merely sleight of claw, but a few know better.

They call it magic.
