Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

He's not a dragon, exactly, but Sharps still finds himself right at home among his otherwise dragon-like makeshift brood. Friendly to a fault, Sharps has yet to meet someone he couldn't become fast friends with. Sharps doesn't have the historical wisdom of some of his brood mates, nor their magical powers or natural know-how, but he has a nose for places and a great sense of direction. Full of adventure, Sharps loves nothing more to travel and travel far, meeting as many new friends as possible. Working as a messenger, Sharps gets to exercise his taste for adventure and love of seeing new faces. But no matter how far he travels or how long he's gone for, Sharps is always just as excited to come home again, to the most familiar faces he knows.
