Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Lunalithos almost never leaves the vicinity of his pack's den-site. As the pack lacks a Guardian dragon, Dilophosfir almost always assigns him the task of guarding the pack's eggs. This suits him just fine, as the egg-guard's duty is to remain close and watch over them at all times, and he prefers to move as little as possible. He was once attracted to Standing Oak, but she turned him down so ferociously -- leaving a pale, crystalline scar in his flank's rocky hide -- that he gave up on the idea. He is now passionately attached to the earth dragon Thorn Teeth and has sired multiple eggs with her.
