Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Deep in the damp cave that is his lair, Xicoatli uses his talons to jot down battle plans and attacks. A member of the "Ancient Strikers", Xicoatli takes the role as the clan leader that prepares the battle strategies. He rarely will fight, only ever going to actually get his claws dirty when it seems like the clan is losing. He always gets into heated debates with his mate Maloxoche as they never agree with the plans that are to be carried out. When the other clan has forfeited or defeated, Xicoatli give the order for his team to pillage and take whatever is desired.
