Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Regal and wise, Destiny has a strange demeanor that is a mix of pompous and down-to-earth. On the one talon, he is highly intelligent. He's an intellectual, always immersed in books and stories. He is fascinated by the world around him and strives to learn everything he can about it. This extensive knowledge makes him come off as arrogant, especially since he very often corrects others for their mistakes. But, on the other talon, he never seems to do any of this out of arrogance or pride. He just legitimately likes learning stuff and feels the need to correct others when they are wrong, no matter how insensitive it may be. Part of the problem is his lack of emotion. Destiny does not express himself well, if at all. His face almost never changes and his voice lacks any signs of inflection. Half the time, it's difficult to tell what he's even trying to say, since his tone is so undefinable. He seems like a legitimately nice dragon with a good heart, he just can't seem to show it.
