Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
When Silver Mirror was back in the wild, his egg was sitting on top of his only future possession, a silver mirror. The one who found the mirror sold it for a great fortune, and when the Lumina egg hatched, he was named Silver Mirror, since it had brought the poor dragon-raiser much money. With that money, RainGoddess started a reserve for dragons, and that was where Silver Mirror lived. Later they found out the name meant even more. Silver Mirror was a very vain dragon, just like regular Lumina dragons, and he loved to stare at himself in the mirror. The only thing is that Silver Mirror owned no mirrors, so he created them himself; he practically recreated the original Silver Mirror, many, many times. Still today, Silver Mirror is a skilled mirror maker. And his favorite material to use with it is... silver, of course!
