It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Zelly's given name is Zelda, but it's a nickname that A-chana let slip once. Now, everyone uses it, as if that was her true name. Not that she minds, of course. Zelly seems to have her head in the clouds most of the time, but she often provides the voice of reason, seeing things from everyone's point of view. She may have a bit of a prideful streak in her worst moments, but she will always put family before self. Regarded as a calm beauty, she's often a target of affections. Although she acts as if she didn't notice, she isn't oblivious at all. She just doesn't want to reject anyone outright, in fear of hurting that dragon. Zelly is empathic, and will often take on one's burden as her own. For her, the greatest thing she could do is protect others from harm.
