Sunstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. Their social structure resembles a lion pride, with one dominant male and several females banded together with their young. They prefer arid climates where they can blend in and dig for minerals and gemstones that they not only collect, but eat. The more gems they consume, the larger their tail stone grows. They are an aggressive breed; it is not uncommon to see two males battling for mates and territory.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Long ago, when Dragon Like a Snake was but a mere hatchling, a strange, but exciting phenomenon swept the land like the most beautiful of plagues. It was a phase in which dragons from all over the world would partake in the interesting new ritual known as "Dragoning Like a Snake... and sometimes a potato."

The event seized a piece of Dragon's mind, gripping like a merciless tumor that forever changed Dragon's life. It was at that moment that he realized that "Dragon," a word used to describe the majestic beasts, winged or unwinged, legged or unlegged, that stalked the earth, skies, and oceans of the world, was not a noun, but a verb. Every day, the creatures around him weren't Dragons... they were 'dragoning'. They always denied their 'dragoning' behavior, regarding his complete and utter unfalsifiable genius as 'absurd'. To this day, Dragon continues to preach about how the dragons around him are using the word incorrectly.
