Water Walkers are small dragons that are frequently found around bogs and ponds. While they are flightless, they retain the flight sacs and hollow bones of their airborne cousins. These traits, coupled with their extraordinarily long, webbed toes, allow them to stand on top of calm waters, using their small sails to propel them wherever they please. They spend the majority of their lives on the water, retreating to the tops of lily pads when the waters become too rough to float atop.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Moss was always rather quiet and reserved, even as a hatchling. It wasn't that he was shy, but he preferred silence and the majority of the dragons in the cave couldn't keep their traps shut for more than a few seconds. He was also shocked and disappointed no other dragon shared his fascination with nature and water. Because of this Moss spent most of his childhood walking up and down the small stream that flowed though his cave. Then two blue eggs were brought to the cave and his excitement rose, not that anyone could tell but Mist. Soon the eggs hatched and he befriended them.
When they all grew up, he, Ice Shimmer and Piesys left the cave in search for a new home by the water. Moss was thrilled, he loved seeing all the different habitats, even if he had to walk on land. Eventually they found a cove and settled down. From that day on Moss walked the pond watching and learning about all of the creatures that lived there.
