Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stratosphere of Senses, a fitting name for a dragon who so truly rules the upper limits of the sky. She strains her lungs, panting in the thin, cold air, as she rises ever higher into the pale mists above the clouds- it is this that she loves, the feeling of vastness she gets as she glances back, seeing the upper layer of clouds fall away behind her. She doesn't even feel the pressure on her lungs, the strain of her heart as it forces her blood to keep circulating...She doesn't care. All she needs is the smell of the cloud-mist, the taste of the atmosphere as she climbs, the sharp sound of the ice gathering on her scales from the cold...and, above her, the pale ghostly moon in the dawn air, which she presses ever upwards to meet.
