Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Deibed doesn't have a clue what the word 'rest' means. Although his owner and various wise dragons have attempted to explain the meaning of the word to him, the concept of resting remains incomprehensible to him. The words 'haste' and 'hurry' are as well; they are so wrought within his very being that he doesn't understand that others have a separate meaning for it.
Speed is Deibed's talent. Whatever expedition he undertakes, he tries to do it faster than a flash of lightning. (Something he still has to achieve, but he's certainly getting closer and closer.) His permanent hurried state of mind leads to serious annoyance of the other dragons, even of fellow Whiptails. Luckily there is one dragon who accepts him the way he is: Deimin, a slim, smart, and rather pretty female Whiptail.
