Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

At first, Risper seems like an arrogant, asinine bully, one who is not above selfishness and cunning manipulation in order to get what he wants. Once you get to know him, however, one would realize that his twisted ways run even deeper than simple greed. He isn't as hot-tempered as his kind are of the mind to be-no, he is the cold, watchful puppet master who relishes the control he enforces over weaker dragons.

He judges all whom he meets. He holds himself to a high standard, preening over his finely toned silvery gray form and praising his own aerial ability, which is quite substantial. He is not such a narcissist that he refuses to take a mate, but he will only allow courtship by dragons who are of his ilk, in that they must be strong, quietly hostile, and cold in their hearts.
