Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to bear some semblance to a horse.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Pegabro is loud and out going and isn't afraid to speak his mind. Some of the hatchlings think he's a little bit nutty but he doesn't mind! He's a very self-confident hatchling which you don't find very often amongst newborns. He loves racing around the ponds and up rivers with Pegasis, his so called "sister", whom was found with him when they were both abandoned.
