Magnesium Amphipteres are a rather violent species. They ruthlessly drive out anything that dares to trespass on their territory, and spend much of their time flying tirelessly in wide circles as they hunt and patrol their space. Often a single individual shows aggression between even its own two heads as they fight for food and control over their body. They are not social and will only come together to mate, after which the two dragons return to their own territory almost instantly. Magnesium Amphipteres are named for their flames: these dragons can breathe blindingly bright, powdery flame from both heads.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Probably the closest thing you'll ever find to a shy Magnesium Amphiptere, Mag places an especially high value on solitude and prefers to avoid other dragons as opposed to outright drive them away. He's the only Amphiptere in his family not fixated on Dos, in fact, Mag almost never appears near his family and evades them constantly. He'll often seek out places that make him feel comfortable, which aren't necessarily the sort of environments others of his breed prefer, but he takes solace in: deep caves, sandy beaches, and high cliffs to name a few. Another unique thing about him is that his heads actually get along. While he does occassionally get into spats with himself, typically when under stress, for the most part, he is pretty relaxed. Of course, he is still a Magnesium Amphiptere, and, as such, is still prone to extreme violence. He'll evade all he needs to to stay comfortable, but the second his peace is directly disturbed, he unleashes his deadly flames indiscriminately.
