Olive Dragons are a small, forest-dwelling breed, rarely growing much larger than the average sheep. When alarmed, they can erect a long row of venomous spines on their back, serving to warn any potential predators that Olives are not a good choice for a meal. While not strong enough to kill anything larger than a small deer, their venom causes an extremely painful reaction and necrosis at the bite site, sometimes causing the flesh to rot and limbs to fall off.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"I believe that your placoids are showing, my good friend."

Vince is an inventor and lover of scientific jokes. Though most dragons don't understand these often witty plays at amusement, the ones who do--such as Montgomery, GLaDOS, and Autumn--enjoy them thoroughly. Few dragons know it, but as a small one he was abandoned in the woods, left to die. Before this, his parents had treated him with little respect and, more often than not, had lashed out at him when he tried to speak. Found by Autumn in what she called the Ditch of Incessent Abandonments (a small ditch where many, many young hatchlings had been found) Vince was raised by Montgomery.

Vince now spends his free time creating random objects and showing off his advanced vocabulary. One of his favorite words is 'placoids'--scales. On top of this, he has a strange affinity for the night sky and adding 'my good friend' to the end of his sentences.
