Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Crespular Soul (otherwise known as Cress) is the night-time hunter of the clan. He is a loner, a stealthy hunter that works alone. Cress is respected by others and often wants to be accompanied by others, especially Charman De La Fue. The younger dragon wants to be with Cress all the time, and the Sunset Dragon seems to like her back because she is the only dragon that is allowed to be with him.

Cress enjoys stargazing and can point out any constellation. When Charman is allowed up, the two always head to a secluded peak where Cress points out the constellations to the younger dragon. Afterwards he escorts Charman home and goes out hunting. Outside he is quite cold, but on the inside he has a heart of gold.
