Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tamariss is a Spring dragon, the daughter of Duskglider the Black and Glacioulnesse the Winter, who are the two elder dragons in her family. Unlike her siblings , she displays strong leadership abilities as well as fighting skills and an ability to stay calm no matter what kind of chaos is going on around her (and something usually is). She believes that she has something to learn from all the older dragons, and often visits them to talk or simply watch them as they go about their duties. Hatchlings are very fond of her, and she sits with them for hours telling them stories that she has made up. the bright pink blossom-like scales on her body are sought after by human visitors for their beauty, so she makes it a point to gather all of the scales she has shed and give them to her owner so that they can be sold. On the same note, she dislikes people tugging the scales off her, and hides when too many humans come over.
