This hatchling could hardly be considered cute.
And look! It has grown wings! At least it isn’t quite as naked-looking anymore.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
User Description
The night of the 26th of October 2011 was a cold, but clear night. GiratinaOF was walking through the area around the cave when he found some marrow eggs on near some cold rocks. They hatched soon and one of them was named "Little-Marrow".
This dragon has one target: She wants to learn how to fly. But this is quite a problem for her, because of her heavy upper body, mainly her head, it isn't easy. Little-Marrow has already managed to slowly glide from a mountain, but she can't gain altitude by herself. Apart from this, she is mostly shy, but when she fails to fly (again), it's possible she can freak out. Maybe she'll learn to fly someday.
