Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Howlitibud TinyBite (after the gemstone: Howlite) was adopted into the clan cave as the 193rd dragon, the first male of his species to make an appearance. The Clan Mother was delighted when she discovered his egg, and rarely left his side during his growth, keeping constant vigil at his side. Like others of his kind, he prefers tiny, bite sized morsels, mostly insects and other such creepy-crawlies, and spends an enormous amount of time trying to satisfy his mammoth appetite with such small tidbits. He is a boisterous and rambunctious dragon who takes great pleasure from upsetting the placid tranquility that often settles upon the clan cave and all its members, yet he is kind and light hearted and would never intentionally cause another distress. Although the majority of his time is spent hunting, he visits the hatchlings as time permits and challenges them to count his stripes; a task made more difficult by the fact that he rarely sits still, bounding feverishly from place to place.
