Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Von Williams is a handsome soulpeace dragon who is quiet and calm. He never raises a fuss and often is seen with either one of his parents, sharing a meal or taking a quick fly around the local skies. He will often stay awake to watch the zombies come out at night, but he knows not to touch them as StarNight keeps them contained in their own side cave, if she needs his special magic, she will tell him. StarNight is especially fond of Von Williams, for his kind is one of her favorite breeds. When he isn't watching the zombies, he is serving as StarNight's bed within the safety of her cave.
