It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A single blossom fluttered through the tangle of vines, drifting down to rest on a soft bed of moss. Petal let her breath flow over it causing it to glide across the blanket of green before disappearing into the darkness of the den. She looked up, watching the milky moonlight filter through the plants, waiting for him to return. She could remember the first time she had met him, his violet scales shimmering, his eyes shining a brilliant sapphire. A cascade of flower petals rose in his wake, dancing around him as he approached. Flight, her mate. For a moment then moonlight disappeared, but she knew it was him. His head pushed through the vines gazing at her, his eyes full of love. And she loved him back with every fiber of her being. They were meant to be, two lovers bathed in moonlight with a harmony of purple flowers binding them together.
