Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ryharis is a fun-loving daredevil who enjoys doing aerial stunts above the mountains on clear starry nights so anyone can witness his grace and agility. He tends to act immature for his age, which is assumed to be quite great (he refuses to tell) and often plays around like a hatchling. However, he is very serious about and deeply devoted to the great love of his life, his mate, Alyharis. No other dragon holds any charms for him, smitten as he is by her. He adores his children and greatly enjoys romping with the newest set of clan hatchlings.
