Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Quite calmly, it seems, he stands watch over the deserts. Every night he sits in the same place, and if you looked there but once each night, it would seem as if he never moved. The object of his attention, however, is not the desert, but rather a small purple egg cared for by the guardian, Grace. One that he was responsible for bringing to the Sihtrae.
