Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
The Wild Card has no problem with referring to himself as a wild card. He knows that his mind is unpredictable, that his morals change with the flip of a coin, his allegiances switched from side to side at any moment in time.
He'll sit on the outside and observe all the fun going on with all the other dragons. Just because they know his name doesn't mean that they know what game he's playing. He'll often tell people that there's more to gain than lose if he goes off by himself, but he never will. Wild Card will just grin at them, raise his fins as if proud, and stalk off like he knows everything in the world.
Nobody's really sure if he does. He really is a wild card. For all the other dragons know, The Wild Card may as well have fleeting moments of knowledge about every dragon that has ever existed passing through his mind at any given moment.
He's a wild card, inside his own game.
