Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Starfriend's brains were never what got her ahead in the Old Featherwing Weyr. She is lovely and she is caveborn, but there is little else to really draw others to protect or help her, and the skies know she isn't particularly strong. Thus, when the Great War broke out, she found herself flitting anxiously, fearfully around the Cave from one side to the next, struggling just to stay alive, changing her alliances as soon as one side seemed to have the upper hand. When all was said and done, she ended up pledging her fealty to Flameflow, on the condition that he keep her from dying. Though the War was almost over by that point, he stuck her with one of his supporters, Stareyes, to keep an eye on her. He agreed, and Starfriend found herself becoming infatuated with him. He brushed away her affections at first, but eventually started acknowledging them, then returning them. Currently, they share a cave and a hatchling, and as long as she's with her family, Starfriend feels safe indeed.
