Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

One day, an odd grey egg landed in front of a lady who was seeking shelter from the intense storm that day.  She carried the mysterious egg into a large cave.  It took the storm a few days to abate.  Meanwhile, she kept the egg and herself warm with a fire.  All of a sudden, she heard some strange cracking sounds behind her while she was peeking out at the storm.  Turning around, she saw a cute little male hatchie, no longer in the egg.  She named that little hatchling dragon Storming 'I—her very first dragon of all her dragons.  Storming and his mom have been together for a long time now and is proud of his mom's large cave full of dragons, hatchies and eggs!
