Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When "Survi" was obtained by her current owner, her owner was shocked to see that she had way more than enough 'growth' to be an adult, and yet her body wasn't ready to mature. She was as sick as they come, refusing to move or eat at all. She had to be carried to the cave by the other Whiptail. Her owner wondered who would do such a thing to a hatchling, to increase its growth so much it becomes deathly sick!

He immediately slowed her growth by hiding her in fog, but he worried constantly about her. Even after 48 hours, she was still sick; usually by then a sick dragon would be better.

Soon, her body was ready to mature. However, she was still sick. Her owner knew that she might die if he removed the fog, but he took a risk and removed it, hoping not to see a dead hatchling... and he didn't! Survi had grown up! She is now happy and healthy!
