Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

The paper dragon was a pleasant gift to the young child; his great wings swiftly folded into all manners of shapes and this produced curious babbling and clapping from the boy. Time passed and the child was no more- standing in his place was a dashing young man set to marry. He knew his old friend the dragon was content with its life noticed it growing more lonely and reclusive the closer his wedding day approached. On the special day he sought out the dragon and extended his arms: in the palms of his hands lay an egg crafted from delicately folded paper enchanted so it may live. The old paper dragon smiled down upon the good man for he had learned the ancient art of origami merely to provide his friend with a child of his own. Years passed, the man and his wife had children who were pleased to be in the company of an old paper dragon and his 'son' whose magic brought the family nothing but happieness.
