Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pebble-Peddler is an odd and eccentric dragon. He believes that he can pick up random rocks off the cave floor and try to trade them to other dragons for their scales. Occasionally a foolish dragon, such as Microgeek Dorkface, Microbobic, or Daphrodite, will agree, but most of the dragons are smart enough to know that his pebbles are worthless. There was one time, however, when Pebble-Peddler found an extremely rare, rather large stone while exploring the cave where abandoned eggs and hatchlings can be found. This stone turned out to be Taliax's first geode egg! Peddler gave the egg to Taliax without hesitation; he isn't a very fatherly dragon, and he prefers to leave young dragons and eggs alone altogether.
