Rations is actually a pet of the Pinkness army. Her name is a joke amidst them and she is actually well cared for and well fed and protected from those who might make a meal of her. She goes fearlessly among the many pink dragons while avoiding dragons of other colors. Few of the diplomats can even get near her because she doesn't know that she can trust them whereas any pink dragon is an instant friend to her.
